Whether you choose to book a table in our restaurant, eat in the relaxed Bar Am Pràban, or take advantage of the stunning scenery and dine on our shorefront lawn by the pier, you’ll have a choice of some wonderful, hearty, Highland inspired dishes.
Our menus reflect the abundance of fresh local produce we have here at Eilean Iarmain, including seafood, shellfish and game. Langoustines arrive at the old stone pier and our salads and vegetables are grown locally.

The Restaurant at Hotel Eilean Iarmain.
Log fires and candlelight create the perfect ambience in our Restaurant, selected for the Good Food Guide 2017. The restaurant offers a delicious menu making use of as much local produce as possible. Local seafood and Eilean Iarmain estate venison, accompanied by Skye-grown salads and vegetables, always feature on our menu.
Bar Am Pràban – the perfect place to unwind…
Our well-stocked bar is the perfect place enjoy a meal in a relaxed atmosphere and in wintertime the open fire will add to the cosy rustic feel. This is the ideal place to meet the local community and as the Gaelic language and culture is at the heart of the hotel, listen out for the mellifluous sound of the island’s native tongue.

When the sun is shining there’s no better place to enjoy some food than the lawn on the water’s edge next to the old historic pier. With stunning views across to the mainland, there’s no better place on Skye to enjoy some wonderful, local fayre.

Drinks at Hotel Eilean Iarmain
With local ales and our very own Award-winning Gaelic Whiskies and Gaelic Gins, Bar Am Pràban is the perfect spot to relax. We have been producing our Gaelic Whiskies since the late 1970s and all are available to purchase from our Whisky Shop. Our small batch Gaelic Gins are distilled on site next door to the hotel and can also be purchased from our shop.

Live Music
Bar Am Pràban hosts regular evenings of live traditional music with local musicians and singers in a friendly cèilidh atmosphere. We also offer a particularly good selection of malt whiskies and local real ale. The ideal location for a celebration!
